What is SPC approval?
SPC approval is necessary when a firm wants to cooperate with ADNOC or any business associated with ADNOC. It allows a company to operate “Onshore and Offshore Oil and Gas Field Services.”
Why is SPC approval required?
Companies that want to perform transactions with any organisations involved in Abu Dhabi’s oil and gas industry need SPC approval on their trade license. Regardless of the primary operations they are engaging with, all businesses interacting with ADNOC enterprises operating in Abu Dhabi must obtain SPC approval. To issue CICPA passes in Abu Dhabi, this approval is necessary.
Large-scale oil and gas ventures often require SPC approval, and the decision-making process is greatly impacted by variables including economic rewards, and environmental impact. SPC approval is open to all companies, although not all applications will be accepted. When issuing this clearance to any firm, the government must adhere to tight rules.
